Stromcode Vocabulary Builder
| Are you learning a new language? Need to increase your vocabulary but having trouble finding the time?
The Stromcode Vocabulary Builder runs in your system tray, and pops up new words at an interval you specify. You can save or ignore new words, and build up a word list. You can even add your own word/definition pairs. The program will fetch photos from Flickr to display next to your words, to give you a visual cue to use when learning. Once you’ve built up a suitable word list, you can run the program in Flash Cards mode for easy study, and run Word Quizzes to test your retention. The Stromcode Vocabulary Builder is free software (donations are welcome, of course), and requires the .NET framework. If you do not have the current version of .NET installed, the installer will do it for you automatically. Currently the program is available in the following languages.
